No real effort to please. I bought my car at Baker where they were friendly and went out of their way to answer questions and accommodate my needs. I think if the dealership is not anxious to p,ease when I'm spending money, how will they be when I have a problem?"

We drove over 250 miles to purchase a 2009 FX35 only to have major issues with the dealer after the purchase to make things right with our purchase. The car's AC did not work when we purchased - Asked them to repair before taking delivery of the vehicle since it was 5 days before purchasing and taking delivery of the vehicle due to our busy schedule and living so far away out of state from the dealer. To make a long story short it took 3 visits to the dealer and a call to the dealership's owner to get the A/C fixed. This dealership was quick to give us the red carpet buying experience only to turn into a service nightmare. The sales department changed their initial offer on the FX35 we were trading in and dropped their offer by $2000. Many broken promises with Kelly Honda!!! We were told multiple times when they hard our car to service it for the a/c they would detail the car - they didn't wash the car let alone detail it. We asked to have a cargo utility mat tray for the rear of the car included in the purchase. They promised they would get us one - yet sent the wrong one and said they would get us the correct mat and to keep the wrong one sent as a spare - only to have take the extra mat out of car and never get us the correct mat. So we ended up loosing out with NO mat at all. Other things that were asked to be taken care of included a broken gas cap, a smudge from a shopping cart needing to be buffed out, and a small defect in the leather seats - that took several requests to even have the dealer address. After several calls and getting the run around with the service staff, sales staff and sales manager who was pawned off to deal with the issues - the general manager called to try to assist us. I asked how the dealer would compensate us for the additional 1000 miles put on our vehicle for the trips back and forth to be serviced for things that should have been right before taking delivery of the vehicle - he told us that they do not compensate anyone for things like this and maybe next time you should buy a vehicle a little closer to where we live. The dealer did provide us with a loaner vehicle while our car was being serviced. The downside is we requested paperwork / documentation of what was done for work on our vehicle for our maintenance records and never received a copy of these documents from the service department when the vehicle was returned. The real kicker is obviously this dealership does not maintain very goods records anywhere - as we just received an email from someone in their online sales department asking us if we were still in the market to purchase an Inifinity FX35. Hello - maybe someone ought to tell their sales department that, we came and bought a vehicle from them. That's pretty insulting to our buying experience. Shame on us for thinking Kelly Honda would make our buying experience easy as their marketing department promises. I would purchase with caution from Kelly Honda - as this has been the worst buying / service department experience we have ever had with purchasing a vehicle!!! "
