"I felt like I was buying a car 20 years ago. These guys played an updated version especially when it came to my trade in. They offered me 3500 on a car that was worth 7200 according to Blackbook in "fair" condition. I started to walk away. They made a phone call, (except he wasn't talking to anyone) and came up to 6000. While I was waiting for that number I pointed out that the salesman charged me twice for the destination charge. Then he recalculated the figure by hand with taxes and tags, and it was still too much. I left. When I got home, he had calculated incorrectly, by, get this $1000. I still did not respond to the offer. The next morning, I received another phone call that they could give me more for my trade in. It truly was like going back in time."

"When buying or leasing a car you are essentially entering a long term relationship with the dealer. Before buying from Fitzgerald, consider the following. Fitzgerald Hyundai in Rockville and Gaithersburg refused to sell me a car because I said I would write a review about my experience. They also threatened me with their lawyers if I wrote a negative review. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and to me it seemed very much like discrimination.
Now ask yourself, is this the type of company you want to enter into a relationship with?
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with these guys who are absolutely indifferent about their customers.

"Called about a vehicle they had listed as available on their website and expressed that I was interested and may be able to see it that same day for a test drive. I Spoke to "Jose", and when I called back two hours later to confirm the test drive said he was sorry but the vehicle had been sold. (Really? In two hours time on a weekday morning?). For days afterward the vehicle was still listed on the dealers website, and I continue to get spam emails from them asking if I'm "still interested". I have no interest in dealing with Jerry's Ford of Alexandria and advise others to avoid them. "
