Our overall experience was ok, however there was a comment made "since you left three other people have looked at this vehicle" this felt like a pressure sales tactic and who knows if it is true. The vehicle we bought has just a few other options that added to our decision. The dealer didn't add any further pressure when we said we were looking at another vehicle or that we need to go for a cup of coffee to privately discuss our thoughts. The dealer was polite and professional when we called back to tell them that we had made our decision to buy the other vehicle."

They sent my bank a buyers sheet with a price we didn't agree upon when I called the salesman he wanted to know where I got that price I told him cars.com he then said he would talk to his manager and then told me it was a typo but they would honor the price. But they would never send the a buys sheet to my bank after that, they did not use my deposit to hold the car and regardless of how many times I ask them to send the paper work to bank they pretended not to know what I was talking about. when I got a hold of a "manager" he told me I took to long to get the car and it was sold. Yes I live about 175 miles away, yes my daughter had unexpected surgery and yes I called and told the salesman this and offered more money to hold the car and he said not to worry that Hawthorne Chev was a big dealer and would hold the car. I guess they got a better deal but at least they could have called and told me they couldn't hold the car. Very unprofessional and I know because I've worked in the car dealership business and just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I can't smell a rat when it's under my nose. "
