What makes me laugh is the "expert" reviews that claim this crossover is nothing more than a expensive ford edge. I initially bought into this until I drove both. NOT EVEN CLOSE. 1. "worst dealer ever. Sealed a deal on line, confirmed by phone, went all way over ro Randolph to pay, signed papers, gave my credit card, agreed to pay entire amount then & there. After over an hour, the salesman says the manager said the deals off. Spoke to the manager, (who I have written confirmation for the deal) who said he wasn't selling me the vehicle. Obviously a bait & switch since I did not agree to his $500 for a trade in on my Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer (1998). He had his number for the entire deal all the while. His rep Jeremy was supposed to return my call or email 2 weeks later to see if another vehcle was available. Guess what? Nada! No reply! Nothing! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! BBB of NJ is being contacted."

"I have been buying cars for many years, Hempstead Ford is the worst dealer I have ever been to.My appointment was confirmed, I drove 2 1/2 hours and 25$ in tolls to get there. The car I was interested in was buried so tight between cars I could not even open the door, The sales man Stanly said you have to come back some other time for a test drive, and was very arrogant and rude.How do they stay in business!!"
