When I asked to see the carfax or other report on the vehicle he told me they didn't run reports like that. First dealer in Amarillo who I've heard that from. He quickly defended his company and said the reason why they don't run reports is because they know the people they buy the cars from; in certain auctions. I'm a 24 year old female and the salesman I spoke with had a, "better than thou" attitude as if I were too young to be asking for a report on the vehicle. He made me feel like I didn't have the right to be asking questions. Regardless, I left, did not purchase nor even drive the vehicle (which I had cash in hand to purchase it with.) Salesmen should be friendly and encourage young people and women to feel empowered to purchase vehicles."
