Instead told me that it wasn't even checked out by their shop yet and didn't know if it could even be sold by their dealership. They then tried to get me into their showroom to "look around". I didn't need to go to their showroom. I know what I'm looking for. The truck they had listed was only bait to get me to come in to the shop. Sharks trying to get me into the water. I'm not looking for a relationship with a salesman, I'm looking for a truck. I found one elsewhere from somebody who offered a price, we negotiated, I'm buying it this week. That's how you sell a car online. You get to be a salesman when someone comes in to your store to look around, not when inquiring about a specific listing on a web site."

Mike (the salesperson) from Dominion Chevrolet called me shortly after my online inquiry. I had already researched the fair market value of the vehicles on Kelly Blue Book, NADA, and used the very useful tool on CarGurus.com that shows you how the vehicles you are looking at are priced compared to other similar vehicles posted for sale on the web. I told Mike my budget (fair market value) for this purchase so we would not waste each others time if he could not sell the vehicles to me for that amount. I would not have been concerned about that but their advertised price for the vehicles was above fair market value (my budget). Mike agreed that we could work within my budget. We set up a date and time to meet at his dealership so I could look at the vehicles that I inquired about. Mike followed up with me the morning of the day of our appointment to confirm our appointment prior to my arrival. He had the vehicles ready to test drive when I arrived. The vehicles were exactly as they were advertised. Mike was a nice guy but a little old school (typical of what most people think of when you say used car salesman). He tried multiple times to get me to pay more which is the only reason why I did not give 5 stars on this review. I was very clear about my budget. After some negotiating I purchased the vehicles for my budgeted amount. I would recommend others to Dominion Chevrolet and CarGurus.com just do your research and agree to a fair price upfront."
