We bought this for my wife to drive to work (over an hour round trip), so we were looking for good mileage, so we went with the 4 cyl. Performance wise, I would have preferred the V6, but the smaller engine is surprisingly peppy and gets an average 25 mpg. Not bad for a midsize 4 door!
