2008 Toyota Yaris Base 2dr Hatchback Review

“Yaris”
I rented the base model (two-door) for one day. I know Yaris comes with hatchback version and a sedan version. It runs pretty well, saves gas, even able to make U-turn in a narrow street (not K-turns). Parking alongside the street, sure, is not a problem. Great for city-driving.

"This was the third out of four cars we had selected to look at. It fit our needs better than the previous two. When we asked to test drive it the saleman said we had to fill out paperwork first including financing. When I told him we had been pre-approved from our credit union the salesman went in to see the sales manager. He came back out saying that the only way they would sell the car at the advertised price is if we would finance through them! We walked away. Ended up buying the fourth car on our list that day from another dealer."

"The lady who delt with me was sweet and the prior owner of the car gave
me a price. Car needed some work but overall it was okay to drive. The
only thing that was inconvenient was the fact that you had to do your own
research such as carfax or ask about what exactly happened to the car to
fix it. All cars have to be paid upfront cash and make sure you call your
insurance before the purchase if you made the decision before hand. Get
some more cash to go to the tag agency too. Always ask questions."
