I asked if vehicle had any hail damage, scratches, dents, or has had any prior body work-repaint and was told NO! Vehicle in fact had been repainted poorly with visible sandmarks, dirt in paint and runs. 18 total hail dents. (3) different brands of tires on vehicle,(Falken, Fisk & Continental).Tires all @ 3/32 tw. Was told by Greg that tires had 60% remaining tread. Vehicle has 39k mi on odometer and was told it was a one-owner, CLEAN car. Dealer would not work with me on price to offset cost of new tires, PDR body work and dropping price based on fact vehicle had been poorly repainted. Runs well but question I asked which was valid was why was I told veh. had no dents, paint/body work etc. and why was it repainted with only 39k ? Was told by Frank that he would contact prior owner on missing key & fob. No call-back on missing key-fob. Had $1,000.00 put down to hold vehicle as I was out-of-state, and told it would not be charged to my acct, it was! I fully understand what is involved when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. But when a buyer is deceived and not told truth regarding issues, that is very unprofessional especially for a dealership like Lexus of Nashville. Based on information given to me by Greg , I stopped my search of vehicles. This vehicle was purchased due to low miles and had to have vehicle taken out-of-state No time left to purchase another vehicle, based decision to purchase on word of sales rep. Greg. Got him to admit he had never seen vehicle himself, contrary to wat he had told me! Honesty is the best policy was not in effect here! Small sale for dealership and their only concern was to sell unit at price that did not factor in body, paint & tires. I will not purchase a vehicle here again, nor would I recommend this dealership to anyone."
