2007 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L Review
by Jeff

Nice looking commuter car with good acceleration.

I love almost everything about this car. It has good acceleration. Good gas mileage. It looks good and the inside is very nice and has all the amenities you would hope for. It is not a sports car though. So, if you want something that accelerates like one I would recommend a GLI.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (3 reviews) "The car was misrepresented on the internet as to color and trim. Their initial offering price was $10,000. The price on the internet was $9,000. This settled to $7,000. When I questioned him to itemize the add-on prices,he said they made no profit from the tag charges of $138.00. I then questioned him about the processing charge of $195.00. He hesitated and then said I will not charge you for this amount only to add this charge at a later time.He was quite defiant when i called this to his attention not backing off. I then made a final offer of $6,000 which they accepted. He said he would charge me $6,000,sales tax ,and tags. I asked him to confirm and itemize those charges by E-mail. He did not comply with my request disguising the processing fee that had been rescinded.Subsequently he raised the tag fee to $300.00 or more. I finally accepted a price of $6000,sales tax,a $14.00 temporary tag fee, and relunctantly a charge of $195.00 that had been dropped. The car was sold out from under me when I could not get there within 24 hours. I must mention the warranty was as close to an" as is" policy as you can get. Their integrity has to be strongly questioned and needless to say I do not recommend this dealership. "
