My deal went through friday morning and was supposed to pick it up Monday morning, however, the car wasn't ready as promised and a bald tire some how passed inspection but the one with the huge gouge out of it didn't and i had to pay for two tires, other wise they would have only changed the one with the gouge with a mismatched used tire...then it was not ready as promised and was not able to pick it up until 4pm that day. When i was driving it home, an hour away, i noticed a clunking noise that i had not heard before and took it to my local mechanic who discovered that the car had in fact been in an accident and had a host of serious problems including the trans axle, ac compressor, a buckle from the accident with out proper repair, an oil leak, and a inferior paint job. Boy was i disappointed, i just spent $10000 on a car that is worth maybe 5000. I took the car back only to be greeted, via phone, that i would be hearing from their lawyer, with no inquiry as to what the problem was. When i told him that i had already contacted DMV re: the situation he asked me to meet him at his lot in Troy. When i arrived he had left and did not answer his phone. I waited for hours for his return only to leave without speaking to him. I left the car there with his sister, Kate, who said she would call us in the morning. My husband called her the next morning because she did not call us. Her response was "Well you have to talk to Brian! Don't you have his number?" So we called Brian , again, and he did not answer or call us back. we left two more messages and finally he answered his phone when we tried again. He said he took the car to the nissan dealership to have it checked out, and if it cost too much to repair he would give our money back. When we heard back from him the dealership had not had a chance to look at it that day and would look at it today. Today is Friday. One week since the deal went through, three days since we brought it back, and i have driven the car only one day. I was not offered a loaner car or any kindness at all. So, i am still waiting to hear whether i get my money back or get a car worth half the value that i paid. "
