Drove over an hour each way to look at the car, it is NOT a non-smoker vehicle. In addition to that, it was stated that it was in "like new" condition. There are numereous scratches and imperfections, most notably the middle of the rear bumper has stress fractures in the paint were it appears to have been hit. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone."

I told him I am coming to his place to buy it. I'm from Pennsylvania. He said that the vehicle has never been to an accident. I went to his location and obtain an air travel round trip ticket to see his store dealership there. I hired a professional mechanic to inspect the 2000 Chevrolet Astro White Cargo Van in the area. The vehicle turn out to be covered with rust on the driver side step flooring. This dealer manager has manipulated to have a good picture angle shown on the internet advertisement, but not the unhidden rusted metal that is falling. Besides my mechanic found out the truth that the truck vehicle was hit on the driver side door. The door hinge was popping off from the socket and was not right when you close the door. The dealer manager finally revealed to him the cause of it and he admitted that the this vehicle was hit on an accident. In fact it's been longer that they had been replace this door twice because of the damage. It turns out that the dealer manager lied to me. Only when he was confronted by my hires mechanic, then he was forced to tell the truth about this vehicle. He was selling it for $3,995. This vehicle is not worth the money and has some questionable odometer reading rollback to believe it. I just lost my time, money and effort just to travel from Pennsylvania to Illinois to buying his vehicle. Can you imagine also I am thinking to pay it to ship the vehicle to my home state in PA? But the vehicle has problems both safety and mechanically. "

Any Scout II showing rust bubbles anywhere is a vehichle in good or fair condition. They said they couldn't take less than $11k for it- but in the market place- not of NADA or Kellys Blue Book, you can get a near mint condition one for their price. If they truely had that much into the vehicle then they themselves got ripped off on the trade in. Sorry guys but you could have possibly sold both Scout IIs if you knew what they ACTUALLY sell for..
