“they sure do build a machine.”
2005 was the last year to offer the full AMG package with the regular E500 engine, so it's ready to "really cruise" down the road, with the pnematic seats and quick-shift transmission, but does not have the supercharger. I figure I saved 20 grand.....LOL, but real fun to drive, especially fast.

"I failed to notice how worn the two front tires were, but I would have appreciated a "heads-up" considering I left the dealership to drive the hundred miles home. The very next day I had a flat, and saw that it was necessary to replace both rear tires. As it was sold, it would never have passed NY inspection!"
