Any Scout II showing rust bubbles anywhere is a vehichle in good or fair condition. They said they couldn't take less than $11k for it- but in the market place- not of NADA or Kellys Blue Book, you can get a near mint condition one for their price. If they truely had that much into the vehicle then they themselves got ripped off on the trade in. Sorry guys but you could have possibly sold both Scout IIs if you knew what they ACTUALLY sell for.. First off i was told there was plenty of room to work on the price of this truck and then after i drive 6 hrs to look at it i was told they cant budge on the price. Secondly I traded my truck and they gave me bottom dollar for it. the body was a lil bruised but interior was imaculate. i took it because i really love the new truck. Third and probably most important i wrote them a check because they didnt wanna wait on the wire transfer like they told my bank they would. Rob then said they would hold my check till i told them it to cash it because i had to get my lender to cut me a check to cover it. They cashed it the next day and i only found out because i had to call them over something else they did wrong. "

The truck ran well and was pretty clean although the gas gauge seemed to not work so we asked the salesman if the gas gage was broken and he stated no. We decided to purchase the car and when we were completing the paper work with the finance manager he received a call and told us that the odometer cluster may have been replaced and that he needs to go find out. He left the room and I was not happy because that can be a major issue if you know what I mean. He came back and said sorry it hasn't been replaced and wasn't an issue. So after we purchased and left the lot we had to stop and get gas. I filled it up and it only took $30.00? As we left the gas station I realized the gas gage was broke and the oil pressure gage stopped working, then the speedometer starting fluctuating. The next day I addressed these issues with the car salesman he told me to bring it back in to have it looked at, so we did. After looking over the car they told me it's not an easy fix and that it would cost $450.00 for a used cluster that would read 110,000 miles instead of the actual mileage on the vehicle and that it can't be recalibrated. The service manager said a new one would cost 600.00 to 800.00. They told me they would pay up to $350.00 towards a used one and I would have to pay the rest out of my pocket! What really bothers me about this is they new it had a bad cluster when they sold it to me and lied directly to my face when I asked them about it and when I asked them to pay for the costs they pretty much refused. I will never purchase another vehicle here....New or Used "
