2000 Chevrolet Venture Plus Extended Used Cars in Crivitz, WI 54114

Location: Crivitz, WI 54114

Certified Pre-Owned: No Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic Color: Tan Description: Used 2000 Chevrolet Venture Plus Extended for sale , 115,090 miles
Avg. Dealer Rating: (5 reviews) " I found a 2012 Ram 1500 on the internet that I was interested in. Called Witt Auto in Crivitz and found out it was in Green Bay at Witt’s used car sale at the Resch Center. Wife and I went to GB and test drove truck with salesman Patrick. While test driving I noticed the brakes had pulsing when applied. Since this is a sign of warped rotors I told Patrick about it and he said they would replace the brakes if we bought it. While making the deal for this truck we asked to see Carfax, Patrick showed us a “car report” that showed truck as having a single owner and no accidents, like a magician Patrick circled these points but never giving us the report. He said it printed out wrong and tried to get it to print again but still printed wrong. So we purchased truck but while signing papers they gave us a “We Owe” you a “brake inspection”. We should have had this changed to “replacement” but figured they would repair the brakes correctly. After we had the truck a day I notice the Hemi symbol was missing from the right fender so I started thinking the only reason that would be missing was if some body work was done to it. I ran a CARFAX on it and discovered truck was a two owner truck and was in a “more than $2,000 but air bags did not deploy” accident. Also noticed that Wisconsin Vehicle Inspection was done at 49,763 miles and I purchased it with 58,202 miles. This truck was driven 8,439 miles since the inspection. I tried to confirm with Patrick that they would be replacing the brakes since they lied to us about the one owner and no accidents but he talked to his manager and they said the brakes were good at the inspection. I argued with Patrick and he talked to his manager several times but they would only pay for half of the brake replacement and I would have to pay the remaining $299. I wanted to talk to manager directly but surprisingly the manager was in a meeting and would have to call me the next day. Now this was around 2PM and they close at 6PM so this meeting the manager was in was going to last 4 hours. Of course he never called me the next day either. So I worked with Bryan at the Witt Ford in Pulaski and had the brakes inspected there. Back brakes needed replacing because they were below the 2MM that the Wisconsin Inspection requires but the front were at 3mm, 1MM (1/32”) over the minimum and the Crivitz dealership wouldn’t authorize replace because they within the State limit, I would have to pay the $299 to replace them. I had the back replaced for free but did not have the front done because my mechanic can replace them for $200. The Pulaski dealership treated me fairly and saved me the time and inconvenience of driving to Crivitz for this inspection and repair but I’m sure they were instructed by Crivitz to do only what was legally required. Now if you’re a dealership selling a vehicle and the rear brakes needed replacement and the front brakes were within 1MM of needing replacement, wouldn’t you replace those too before putting the vehicle on the lot? Not at Witt Auto in Crivitz. I could go into more details here but it would turn into a very long story. Bottom line here is I was lied to so much by Patrick and the Crivitz dealership I would NEVER go back to the Crivitz location for any type of vehicle or service. My first oil change is free at Crivitz but I will not be going back to them for this or anything."
