The dealer wouldn't give an asking price, so i whent in person. Once there I looked the car over and came up with a list of imperfections. It was missing the shift knob, 3 center caps to the wheels, cracked windshield, and the interior had the scent of a pet store full of dogs. I whent on a test drive next. To seal the deal it had a slipping clutch to the point of not being able to get up to speed. I was done at that point, but they said they would fix it before it was sold. I told them that fair value price was $4,700. Then gave them all the reasons why it was more like in poor condition with an offer of $4000 cash at the end. Their final word was it was an $11,000 dollar car no matter what. All lies from start to finish with this place and the try and push over priced cars with 200k miles. "

Dealer Rating: (2 reviews) "BUYERS BEWARE: If you buy a used car, from Moore Nissan in Bessemer, bring a notary public and a lawyer… I bought a used car from Moore Nissan and was promised, in writing and without me asking, things would be replaced IF I bought the car (such as replace the battery because it was dead and replace the headlights because they leaked when it rained). The battery was not replaced with a new battery… They installed an OLD, WEAK battery which had to be replaced a few weeks after the purchase. Moore refused to swap the one they installed, claiming it “wasn’t under warranty”… The FIRST TIME I brought the car in for the lights to be replaced, instead of replacing the headlights, they tried to fix the rain leakage with poor applications of red putty. When that didn’t work they piled on clear sealant and making a complete mess. The used car manager said, "If this doesn't fix the problem then we'll see about replacing the lights". It didn't fix the problem and the manager would never return my calls after that… Another issue, the car had engine rail covers on the engine when I purchased the car. After leaving the car at Moore Nissan the first time, the engine rail covers DISAPPEARED… While we were in the neighborhood, my fiance took it upon herself to attempt to have a civil conversation with the used car manager. While discussing the problems, the manager became very dismissive, rude and even cursed her. Moore Nissan, and Nissan USA, claims they “have a strict privacy policy”, yet the used car manager had no quams about broadcasting every misrepresented detail of my transaction to her (or any customer within earshot). Plus, the manager called ME every disparaging name he could think of… Moore Nissan could have offered an AS IS warranty, but they didn’t. If someone promised something they shouldn’t have, Moore could have come to me and tried to work something out, but they didn’t. The owner was asked to apologize to my girlfriend for his manager cursing my fiance, but he REFUSED. It's bad enough the dealer promised what it couldn't deliver; that the engine rail covers disappeared while at the dealership; but to stoop to bullying a tiny woman for asking a few questions, instead of facing me, is low indeed. Nissan of USA stated, “We have no control over what Nissan dealers do, or say”. With that stated, I wouldn’t trust Moore Nissan, nor Nissan USA, to sit the right way on a toilet seat. Much less give an honest sale or service. People have since told me of the many problems they have had with Moore Nissan and problems with the low quality Nissan cars, which is just as well because, I will NEVER purchase a Nissan."
