1978 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Review
by Jordan

An Old Friend

Fantastic car!!! I had a L-82 with a 4-speed on the silver anniversary paint. Great car, amazing to drive. This is a slow one by Corvette standards however it is still a Corvette and loads of fun. This car is completely worth it!

Avg. Dealer Rating: (11 reviews) "Great price on a vehicle, terrible customer service. Drove 900 miles one way, to purchase it. After having informed them 3 days earlier that I would be there, the vehicle was not ready when I arrived. I sat at the dealership for about 8 hours while they tended to the "more important" customers--i guess that's what you get when you make a non-refundable deposit over the phone--they don't need to treat you well because they have you "hooked". When I asked to have a sales rep walk me through the car and show me how to use the widgets on it, I was told that the owners manual would explain everything to me--i had to familiarize myself with the car with no one there. After finding some discrepencies with the vehicle, it was disclosed that the service techs knew of some of those issues, but were told not to fix them--the car had no heat on the drivers side!! They discounted the vehicle $400 more and sent me on my way with a bag full of key chains, a cap, and some coozies--as i drove off with a hat and jacket on because it was as cold inside as it was outside (24 degrees). I signed a power-of-attorney so they could request the title for my trade-in, based on their request for me to do so. I was told that i would get the paperwork for the vehicle i bought in the mail, so i could go register it. i waited 2 weeks and nothing---my temp tag expires in 2 weeks. i called them and apparently, according to the lady i spoke with, they do NOT request the title and i need to get it and send it to them. I did (after driving to another state to get it) and over nighted it at her request (this was last Friday)--I call today (Thursday--almost a week later) and the lady tells me that she hasn't checked, but will check today and send me the paperwork if it's there. Seriously!! My tags are expiring because of your incompetence! After this experience, I wouldn't even buy toilet paper from them. it's amazing that people/business establishments like these still exist. buy at your own risk, trust little that they say, and verify everything you see/sign/test drive."
