"First of all, I called the owner as soon as I saw the internet price of the 2009 Saturn Vue XR V6 for $10,890. I asked him about *wiggle room* on the price and he said there was some *wiggle room*. That was a lie. On February 26, 2015 the car was listed for $10,890 on this site and on HIS home site. When my husband called him on February 27, 2015 (the next day) and said that we are interested but can't test drive until the next day (February 28), he said he would "hold it" to allow us the opportunity to test drive it because of the distance we needed to drive to his state from our state. (The price was still listed as $10900) The next day when we arrived on his car lot on February 28th (which was so jammed pack with cars that we HAD to park on the street) we walk up to the car and there's a MARK UP on the price! As soon as this dealer knew we were coming and using the information that we were driving a long distance with possible cash in our pockets, he jacked up the price. And it gets better... he also said there was NO wiggle room. He wouldn't even come down $400 off the NEW INFLATED price. So, basically... the original $10,900 retail price with negotiating wiggle room turned into $11,890 FIRM. Clearly this dealership is not in the business of SELLING CARS. This dealership COLLECTS cars and waits for pigeons that they can lie to. I was up front with him about everything and he used MY HONESTY to make him some money. What a shame. The Saturn had transmission trouble and sure it came with a one year warranty on the work. But, the warranty's one year is from the DATE of the work. By the time I would have bought this car... Most of the warranty time had already started to disappear. If the transmission would have failed after the warranty expiring, that meant I would have had to dump even MORE money into the car. This dealership is like everyother dealership... full of crooks who lie to you and are only interested in making money off of your impulse buying. I would not buy from this dealership. >> here's what is DOCUMENTED on the Saturn's listing >> $10,890 Feb 26 $11,980 Today (Feb 28) << I pasted and copied that yesterday when I got home from Louisville, Ky. Proof that he changed the price overnight. He then lied saying he had changed the price 7-10 days ago and that it was the website's fault. Then my question is: then why was the price of $10890 on his OWN HOME WEBSITE the same price as this website on February 26 and 27th?? So BOTH website's were delayed? His own website is under his control. He lied and I caught him in his lie. Bad dealer. Not honest. And he will bully you."
