"If I could give a big ZERO stars, I would for this dealership. The sales team is deceitful and arrogant. When we first arrived, I was shocked to see the sales staff at the Hyundai department freely parking and taking all the handicap spaces with the cars they had for sale. The salesmen would go for a test drive and pull the car into the spots with the potential customer to "work the deal" When we approached the manager over his sales team parking illegally - he fully supported what they were doing and justified it by saying "oh, we're under construction-go ahead and report us." Ok, now we decided to give them a fair shot and dealt with a salesman named Dennis. He seemed genuine and kind but after negotiating for a few days, changing sales prices on us and our trade, not to mention withholding rebates that were advertised nationally on the Hyundai website. The dealership did not list incentives and rebates at the dealership so the sales team could gain more $$$ from the sale. Dennis then sends our family a text message telling us that the sales manager is "refusing" to 'allow' us to purchase a (new) car from them!!! Dennis went on to actually tell us that unless we agreed to provide the dealership with a glowing CSI (customer service index) that they wouldn't do a deal. Amazing right? They acted like they are the ONLY dealership in the Tampabay area that they could attempt to bribe us into giving them a great rating-overlooking thei sales staff parking cars for sale in disable parking as well as the rude, condescending attitude from the manager! We wouldn't have lost anything walking off but the salesman Dennis did in not getting his commission check from the sale. If we agreed to let them 'write' the CSI for us- the manager would 'allow' us to buy the 2013 Hyundai Tucson Limited for $2500 more!!!!! Surprisingly this was written to us by this over confident salesman and his manager in their pathetic efforts to control the sale and control the CSI so they could get perks from Hyundai itself. BUYER BEWARE if they are callous enough to do this to our family it makes one wonder-how many other 'victims' of their intimidating sales tactics are out there? We've had the sales staff "show us" how to write a glowing CSI in their highlighting the review they wanted. Never in my many years of car purchasing have I ever encountered a dealership with the mindset of Courtesy Hyundai! That is very brazen of them to feel its ok to mistreat us, talk down to us, withhold rebate and incentives from us and threaten to not allow us to buy a car unless they fed us the information to write on their CSI (customer service index) !!!Shame on this dealership and sad to hear the two words 'Courtesy' and 'Hyundai' together when discussing this dealership. They need to reevaluate their sales tactics before it gets them into serious trouble with the city and a car manufacturer that frowns upon this type of sales methods."
