“My Car”
this is a pretty good little car!
Pros —
its got good acceleration, it could look nice but my sister crashed it!
Cons —
the body isnt the best, the breaks arent that good, but other then that its alright!
My first brand-new car! I bought this in December of 1992 when the dealership was desperate to get rid of the 1992 models. The Altima came out in 1993, in fact those still said "Stanza ALTIMA" on them. I got one that was nearly stripped of features, and had them add on a factory air conditioner. (This IS Texas, after all!) Lasted into 2000 until it developed a transmission problem that cost more to repair than the car was worth. Fixable, and predictable problem (the throwout bearing for the manual transmission wore out) so I'd say it was the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.
Pros —
Very reliable and economical. Made me a Nissan fan!
Cons —
Compared with what I had been accustomed to, this was a small car. Yes, even compared to the Lancia, this one just did not quite have the same integrity. It was built to be inexpensive, therefore a bit on the cheap side.
