I love this car! Even with the V6 engine, it pulls hard from 1,9000 to 3,000 RPMs and can easily smoke the all-season tires from a stop. It must not have ABS because the brakes will lock up in a pinch. I've tested the gas mileage various times and consistently get 23 MPG city and 33-34 MPG highway with the 5-speed manual transmission. It now has 166,000 miles on the odometer and I've never had major engine repairs necessary. A slight amount of plastic in the interior is the only drawback I see. I added an after-market spoiler for the sake of appearance...but it could use new lifter arms for the trunk since it was originally not equipped for the added weight of the spoiler. It's fun to drive and the factory cruise control makes highway driving easy. There are a few squeaks and rattles now, but considering mileage I'm not complaining. One thing to consider is that it does not come with grease ports for the front axle joints. This has developed a squeak problem when the outside temperatures get over 80 degrees. Overall, it's a great car and I recommend it in every way!

I love the streamline of my car, even though it has nothing to do with the original design of a Mustang. It has decent breaks, I absolutely love its acceleration, but its turn radius is terrible. When I bought the car, it was dented and scratched by the previous owner, and I had an accident that scratched some paint on the bumper, but it still has a decent body. The gas mileage in stop and go and suburban traffic is terrible, but on the interstate, the gase mileage is great.

I love my car, she is perfect for what I need! I am someone who needs power but is on a budget. Luckily, I found my '97 V6 for $3,600. The gas is what you'd expect compared to a 4 cylinder but compared to a V8, it's heaven. I get American muscle without the debt for gas. It hasn't been too awful to maintain either but there are always parts that you want to buy.

takes turns very well, acceleration could be better, top speed is good but the govener sucks, looks great and is a plast to drive all the way around.
