Once built, its got a very reliable engine. Dont rely on the stock one because it will most likely let you down. The 2G body is awesome and is even sexier when left sleeper. The 2.0 engine allows you at least 20mpg unless you go stroker but you're gonna want to step on it cause the hissing of the turbo gripping on all fours will tempt you beyond belief.

Pros: All wheel drive makes mundane driving to the mall into a course race.
Cons: Very heavy, back end is sloppy and the stock engine leaves much to be desired.

Got 230000 miles out of my Betty Sue, it was a thrill when it first came out, taught me the meaning of 'joy ride'.  If you take care of it, it should last you a long time, I did regular maintenace, using full synth oil three times a year and premium fuel.  I only put on minor modifications like a K&N air filter and Blitz blow off value.  There was turbo lag I noticed during it's latter years.  The last three years I noticed the panelling falling apart and other interior items seemed to be made of cheap material. The AWD was nice in the winter and rain.  Overall it was a fun car to drive and had some good times with it. Always a crowd pleaser. I will miss it.

Pros: Aggressive styling, fun ride, good times, fast, AWD
Cons: Quality of interior parts not very good, fuel injector issues,
