2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Reviews

Car would be at its best on some rims and lowering kit, that's it. The car already has a gorgeous curve body and appearance. Definitely needs motor build and will mob any car. Great handling and hella easy to drive, 5 speed is where its at.

Performance- decsent acceleration, good braking, good handling

Build Quality- had alot of mechanical repairs

Appearance-HID Lights

Cost of Ownership- 122000 miles, about three major repairs

Very fun car to drive, if I had the option of choosing a car again it would not be the same one, to many problems.

Awesome exterior gave me good first impression.
Despite the fact it has only 4 cylinder(GS model), it is really fun to drive. My car doesn't have manual shift, but it has auto/manual shift feature which is really fun. If i want to accelerate on highways, i just change gear to manual and do some overdrive! :)

The 4-cyl has about 150 hp which is fun with the 5-spd manual but it sounds pretty deep for a 4cyl. I upgraded the sound system with an alpine head uint and alpine speakers all around and alpine ampe-mono and 2-channel, and topped it off with 2 12" alpine type-s subwoofers.  Sounds really good and hits really hard. Hoping to tighten up the suspension with a sway bar and some lowering springs and hoping to get some new rims and a catback over the summer.
