2001 Mitsubishi Mirage 4 Dr ES Sedan Reviews

Alright, so I'll admit it - I bought this car out of desperation with only 4 hours on my side and it was between that, a '00 Corolla or a Geo.  Considering the Corolla and Geo have exactly the same engine(only one was more expensive than the other - guess which one!), I had an obvious choice in front of me with a 1.8L 4cyl getting more than decent MPG ranging from 26 city - 32 hwy, listed.  It was a rental before I bought it in 2003, with only 16,389 miles on it and I honestly didn't expect it to hold up long enough for me to pay it off.

So, the real question:  Would I have made the same decision all over again?  You bet your sweet ass.  I have had this car for 4 years and 6 months and single-handedly put well over 111,000 miles on it, but it has yet to disappoint me.  I take good care of my vehicles and this one proves the Car-ma Theory - "Routine maintenance rewards routine reliability."  I've had to re-charge the battery, replace the headlights, do a few extra brake jobs and install some new sparks, but other than that, I haven't invested a single cent over average maintenance costs.
