Performance - Acceleration since the upgrade is more than perfect. For braking it havent needed any upgrade it is perfect but there is room for improvement. Handling from factory was relatively good but it has been upgraded with racing bushings.
Build Quality - Perfect some minor details.
For gas milage it is the best for 12 years old it runs like a new car and wastes no fuel, better now that I made some improvements on air intake and exhaust.

Love driving this car handles good, feels good and have the fun factor.

My Dawn Marie gave me this little car, when she bought her 2005 MB C230k. Not a bad car, I just perfer European or Asian cars over American anyday.
Mine is a red 1997 Sport model, with about 11o horsepower and gets between 25 and 30 mpg on the highway.
I do enjoy having this car, what can you say when its free! I can't complain, its been great to me!

Handled beautifully after we picked the Hp up to 140 and put it on 16 inch rims/low profile tires.  It´s a good looking car with lots of space for people and golf clubs.  Handles great on gravel roads because Ford is a long time competitor in rallying around the globe.  Needs more power though like the Escort Cosworth engine

I personaly think its a good first car. its a handme down but we have had it for 10 years now and it still runs fine.
I like it because, it's like an 800 pound go-cart. and its a hatch back so that increases the amount of stuff I can fit in it. It gets 25 mpg city. which is suprising for only 4 cylinders. it's great when going from place to place but would get a little cramped on a long drive. But the best part abbout it is you always feel like your going twice as fast as you really are. The worst part about it, you can't haul anything that won't fit in the cab.
