I bought this car for $500. It is the second of its kind that i have owned and is very good on gas, easy to work on, and there is no end of easily available aftermarket options and upgrades. Very fun to drive once you know the car, there are a few things to get used to like any older vehicle; no power steering or AC, a few rattles, etc. The performance is alright but not amazing, it handles fairly well but will perform much better once i have done some optional work.

Pros: good gas economy, very fun to drive
Cons: cold in the winter, no cup holder :(

I Bought this car this year with only 184,000kms on the body, and 85,000 on the engine.  i was suprised at how well the B16 performed (yes, it is a B16, im not retarded)
and the VTEC made it tons of fun.  i did love the look of the SIR conversion it had, but the bumper was covered in bondo.  after removing that and retrofitting a jetta front lip, it dazzled a little more, but still needs paint.  i was upset with the lack of power anything, but its made up with by the awesome stereo and handling capability with the aftermarket suspension.
i was also upset with the overall build of the vehicle, as much of it was assembled incorrectly... though only cosmetic it still bothered me enough to rebuild the entire car.

as of now i am in love... there are still a few things here and there... but i can live.

Pros: B16 has plenty of power and VTEC.. spoon ecu provides awesome fuel mapping.  overall fit and form, performance.
Cons: power nothing... the few "screw ups" from the previous owner, incorrect seat rails.

Performance-it will do 0-60 in about 5-7 sec depending on how my foot is feeling that day, it has a header on it and its heat rapped all the way to the catalytic converter, it has an aluminum fly wheel, high performance racing clutch, the valve cover has been powder coated to the match the color of the car.
Build Quality-i built it form the ground up since i was 10 it has an exhaust rattle, unfortunately, and my rear shocks really need changing cuz they've never been changed......lawl.
Appearance-stock body, 17" rims, full racing exhaust, not just a tip, rear control arms for the rear suspension.
recaro racing seats, racing pedals and shift knob, short throw shifter, kenwood stereo, havent finished getting good speakers yet, front and rear strut tower bars.
Cost of Ownership- it has an 11.9 gallon tank so when gas is like $4 it only costs $48 to fill it up....not bad if u ask me, getting ready to change the oil and the front disc brakes.
Fun Factor-its loud, not many of them out there that look good, gets attention, will spin the tires, on roads that have curves, it totally rocks, it has no power steering, just doesnt have it, no power windows, no power door locks, no air conditioning, and it totally rocks my socks.

Pros: Fast, loud, and not many of them that  look good out on the streets
Cons: no air conditioning
