handles like no other, light weight with easy modifications for some real get up and go. the stock 1.5liter i4 engine dosent seem like much but it gets around and the car will take newer larger engines (as if it really needed them) the car can basically be rebuilt with performance parts for much less than buying a new high performance car

i havnt drivin mine much yet but from my buddys civic it has good accelleration braking and handling. i did do body work on it but the body work wasnt much for being 16 years old. for the exterior i switched the head lights and tail lights and interior im savin up to get some racing seats mabie a new stearing wheele but i think im pritty much done with the interior. its got 168 000 KM gas i dont know and i put about 1500 into the body work and nuthin into the engion. when i drove my buddys car it was awsome to driv its a funtastic car

I recently got my Honda EG hatch. It's got a 1.6l vtec mini-me swap in it. Also included JDM headlights, VIS OEM style carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber mirrors, front bumper trimmed for an intercooler, Walbro 255 in-tank fuel pump, lowered on Tokico shocks, Apexi VAFC, and 2.5 inch exhaust. It needs rear shocks though and only one of my original interior speakers work. :P But the main thing I like about it is that it looks completely sleeper. |

The car gets excellent gas mileage, 4 speed automatic with the D15B7 engine, I can get 38 MPG with the A/C on going 80 down the interstate. I plan on putting a manual in it to achieve even greater overall mileage; which leads me to working on these cars....it's a breeze, very simple to work on and converting to a manual is a process of only a couple of hours. Decent power from the 1.5, it's no GSR or H22 by any means but it's a solid motor that burns no oil after 155,000 miles, good compression yet, recent tune up, very impressed with this car.
Pros:
Excellent gas mileage, easy to work on, comfortable to drive, and reliable.
Cons:
Slightly underpowered in some situations, especially when the a/c is on, interior is cheap but designed well, for its size I wouldn't exactly feel safe in an accident, and people harass you about driving it.

Well, when I got this it was used so much is wrong with it. First, it has no air conditioning, a common problem for this year and model. Then, the speedometer was broken..though I later fixed this.
Pros:
Bucket seats (comfy!)
Cons:
Small backseat, no air ( eventhough it had it at one point), handling/ acceleration, horsepower is only 102...just sad.
