Awesome, great, whatever.

I have put every mile on this car my self. The greatness of it lies in the comfort, ergonomics inside and the fact that the mileage ain't bad for a car with v6 (I have gotten about 22 in mostly city and 26 on the highway mpg without very rapid accels and decels). The ride has been quite comfortable although past 60mph you may notice wind noise to be just slightly more than in Jeep Grand Cherokee.
   Engine works pristine if you change oil as indicated. The manufacturer brakes worn out after 30-40K miles - the original Micheline tires have been gone from my car at about 40K miles - worn out completely - I have used Hankook Milage plus with 60K warranty and have not worn them anywhere near noticeable amount having about 115K miles now.
    Now the worst - the transmission. What started off as occasional slip or delay in shifting between the 2nd and 3rd gear at 98K miles became rather worse problem than expected. My car eventually began to into error mode I guess, suddenly not downshifting after a halt, then after few seconds of struggling, it 3rd and 4th gear lights on the dash and orange stability control lights would light blink; my car would not upshift past the 3rd gear. Turning the engine on off would 'cancel' this problem - but it would repeat itself. Now, it slips often between the 1st and 2nd and more so between 2nd and 3rd. The forums I have read suggested that there has been recall on some sort of cooling mechanism near the shifting 2nd and 3rd gears in the transmission - none of which I have been made aware by the manufacturer. Some were lucky to visit the dealer and find out that Honda would exchange the trans for rebuilt one if it was under 100K miles. Unfortunately, I did not know about it so I am stuck now.
   If it wasn't for the transmission, this car is really a great emphasis of japanese sedan for the mortals who do not have nor want to spend more than 30K for a car which in 5 years may become a decoration on a junkyard.
