2003 Honda Element EX AWD Reviews
| “Can You Tell I Love It?”
I love this car and it was so hard to find. I rated it ugly because it's not meant to be a pretty car but that's what I love about it.
Pros —
Roomy, Great Gas Mileage, Unique Look
Cons —
I'm yet to find one thing wrong

| “The Toaster” Although a bit pricy off the lot, these vehicles were built for cruising the road! It handles like a dream! It seems velcro'ed to the road in the corners. The amount of leg room in this thing rivals the outdoors. With the built-in subwoofer and AUX input, you can cruise with your iPod from one coast to the other. On the autobahn, it handles very good! I was impressed with its reliability! At higher speeds you will notice some wind noise because of the clamshell doors, but its not that bad. The only thing that I would change is push button 4WD selector. The whole water proof interior is an especially nice addition. This car is just plain fun to drive! It has an awsome turning radius and I have had a number of comments on it by the local germans. They seem to just love the design!
Pros —
Comfortable on or off road and leg room
Cons —
Fuel capasity and wind noise.

| “Terrible As An Every Day Driver, Good At Everything Else”
It would tear me to pieces for days if i had to decide whether or not to buy one of these. I test drove one from 2003 with only 40k miles on it, which for a Honda means that it still has years of life left on it. First walking around the car and looking at all its features, its definitely a cool car and theres no doubt about. Its geared towards young males in college who are the adventurist type, and the versatility of the vehicle is amazing, from seat configurations and making use of space properly to the amount of kit you get with the car standard. How the car looks inside and out is nothing short of perfect for the market that they designed this for, but there's only one problem, how it drives.
Pros —
versatility, durable interior, very low split folding gate rocks for loading cargo and sitting down.
Cons —
Acceleration, braking, steering, body roll

At first glance this appears to be a car for the young, but I say it is a car for the yound at heart. The element is spacious, easy to clean and drives great. I love this car.
