Acquired the 2003 LX Anniversary Edition with 60K. It is in like new  condition. Just had the car for week and so far am impressed with its comfort, styling with spoiler, control, simplicity, ease of use, and manouverabilty. Automatic shifting in city is barely noticeable, without abrupt lurches I have experienced in other compacts.

I look forward to this car serving me and my family in the years to come.

Pros: small footprint, suspension, transmission, comfort,
driver visibility, 15 inch tires, dash display readability.
Cons: engine noise intrudes, radio quality,
no dash indication that only DRL are on as.

Transmission failed at 30k miles. Car was driven respectfully
and with city and highway miles. This car is a piece of crap. I
also think the interior design is awful. All knobs on right
(heat temp, fan, etc.) are round and approximately the same
size. All knobs on left are square (side windows, sun roof).
You HAVE to take your eyes off the road for an
uncomfortable amount of time in order to make any
adjustments. In my Toyota before this car, every button was
different--all you had to to was feel for it, and you could
make all and any adjustments without taking your eyes off
the road. I will never buy another Honda again. I canNOT
understand why this car has a good reputation with an
unconscionable transmission problem for YEARS in ALL
MAKES of Honda.

Pros: none
Cons: transmission, interior design

well its a nice looking car with a good aerodynamic body .. when it comes to performance, acceleration is awesom with the Vtech engine and the CVT multitronic transmission. handling of course is much better when compared to other japanese makes that are in stock conditon... economy wise, its got two modes, in the D mode that is in normal driving it does about 15km/l but wen d sports mode is turned on it does only about 8 km/l..

Pros: its a nice car with awesom performance
Cons: spare parts are expensive.. thats d only negative thing i can say abt this car

In this car I like its speed, acceleration and handling
and some times I feel it has good exterior styling
but I hate its brakes
about the interior style I think that Honda (co.) didn't make it sportive like sir and and the oldest one (92--->97models)
and also I think its repair is too expensive and tiger civic.

Pros: acceleration, handling
Cons: brakes

Performance: Very nice acceleration and great engine power. It was always fun to pump this car.

Build Quality: This is the area where Honda needs improvement. Build quality is very nice, but not as reliable as Toyota.

Appearance: I always love Honda designs. And this model was not an exception. It was a gorgeous car.

Cost of Ownership: This car was very good in fuel consumption, and I never had any problems with the maintenance.

This car was fun to drive, but this is a type of car you have to keep with extreme care.

Pros: Great engine, good acceleration, good looking, very comfortable.
Cons: Low ground clearance, delicate build
