Japanese Reliability, economical, practical, well built, cheap tax, reasonable performance, classic styling, rarity, ahead of its time, excellent brakes, aerodynamic shape, leather interior, 50mpg from a petrol engine, safe handling, independent rear suspension, well worth seeking one out, do it!!

Pros: rarity
Cons: nothing!

Mileage varies depending on where and how it's driven. I can squeeze 50 mpg out of it in the mountains in the summer, but my husband has only managed 42. Winter driving = worse mileage, partly because of the gas formulation for winter, and partly because of the added weight and stickiness of the snow tires and steel rims. It also doesn't shut off at lights on very cold days, so there's a lot of idling.

It's handling is surprisingly good on Vermont's mud roads in the spring, and with good tires, does great in the snow, too. It's much better in bad conditions than the 4wd Volvo that preceded it. It's not pretty, but it's a decent car.

I'd give it better marks if the AC compressor were more reliable, and the company was more proactive about updating the firmware to keep the catalytic converters from melting. Many people have paid tons of money on replacing the cats, when the company should have done it for them and updated the software for free.

Pros: Handles better than expected in Vermont's challenging driving conditions. Decent mileage.
Cons: Catalytic converters fail prematurely due to firmware problem.

This summr I was getting 52 MPG and currently it's getting in the mid 40's.  The only thing subtracting from its beauty is the need for a bath currently.  Otherwise, I appreciate that it looks like any normal car.

Pros: gas milliage
Cons: currently needs a bath

Had it for 8 months and put 45,000kms...boring. *yawn*

Pros: Fuel economy was ok...best achieved was 5.5L/100kms. Was super quiet to drive, interesting technolgy with the engine on/off feature
Cons: Slow and boring to drive, CVT transmission sucks.......had to remind myself every time "Its not a sports car"

I love my car. I bought it after the Volkswagen I previously owned imploded. No mechanical worries here.

Pros: Fuel Economy, Handling, Build Quality, Standard Features, Safety
Cons: Small Trunk, Tinny Speakers, No Passenger Armrest
