  This was a great, peppy little car that ran GREAT! Where it lacked in performance it made up for in economy & versatility. It had more headroom & legroom than other small cars I've owned and was very dependable. This car looks great with custom wheels and a dropped suspension; I just didn't have it long enough to get that far.

Reliable, never needs repairs, 28 - 32MPG. Fun, small. Most people like its appearance. Performance is okay car is very light. Very cheap car to own. Fun to drive. Yes for the fourth time only 6 more words to go go.

Simple car with space for 4 comfortably. comfortable seats. Not to much stock power but great around corners. cheap car hence the reason i bought it. fine on the highway, wish it had a limited slip differential though. but its a good car

Performance - The ZX3 gets up to speed at a decent rate and stops when I need it to. It handles like a dream even at high speeds. Hoping to put a 2.3Duratec w/6spd trans which will improve acceleration and overall power.

Got the base model with 5 spd manual. At first it took some getting used to because of the styling and hatchback, but i soon fell in love with it because of its handling and practicality. So much fun to drive!
Pros:
Fun to drive, cheap to fix and own, practical, if you are into modifying there are no limits.
Cons:
styling takes some getting used to.

This car is fun to drive - solid. It has interesting looks and is roomy enough to carry music equipment. Gas mileage is so-so in town, excellent on highway.
Pros:
I like the looks of the car and it is solid, reliable transportation.
Cons:
I hated the process of buying this car. Others must have had similar experience because the dealer went out of business.

A well built and thought out modern hatch. Drove it for 3 years and had no problems. Mine was lightly modified and handled superb despite tires.
Pros:
Handsome, handles very well, great stock transmission (5-speed), well thought out interior, reliable, economic, great for price, and very spacious.
Cons:
Engine is a little lacking compared to rest of car, a little too large for a hatch, rear drum brakes in 2003 is rediculous.

I have experienced only one flaw with the vehicle. The rear window defrost has not fully worked since I got the car but I got it used. I have had great success in reliability and enjoy the manual transaxle. It shifts solid and the clutch does not seem to slip at all. I have got has high as 35 mpg on the highway avg and as bad as 24 mpg for around town avg.
Pros:
Reliable and fun to drive, ride quality is good and interior remains tight and no rattles
Cons:
Mine has no A/C or cruise so its hot in the summer and highway driving can be more tiring.

Excellent little car, sporty & fun! If set up right can have real performance! Recommend a cold air intake or chip or if you want real power, stick a mustang 5.0 with a set of shorty headers!
