2008 Chevrolet Avalanche LT3 4WD Reviews
| “Aside From Gas, This Is A Great Do All Auto” If you need a do it all truck/auto this is for you. At first I found the fuel mileage to be a bit bad, but that was brfore I took out the Honda Ridgeline, I got about 22MPG in this, but the Ridgeline (also known here as the Knock-off) avg 18MPG. This truck had a full 4x4 system, menaing unlike the ridgeline I can go int 4x4 low, The Avalanche also out tows/hauls the honda also, now some will say that this truck and the knock-off are in two different catagorys, but according the the Honda rep, it can compete with it!!! I don't understand that but he was the one to say it. Anyway, I found this to handle well for its size and the few hours That I had it, I was comfortable and it truck accerated great. If it needed a truck I can haul the family around as well as tow/haul a payload this would be the one for me. There are two downfalls of this truck for me, I cant tow a 5th wheel and Mileage, but with that being said the Avalanche still got better mileage than the Ridgeline (Honda Knock-off).
Pros —
This is a do-it-all truck.
Cons —
Not a good daily driver, (mileage but better than the Ridgeline)
