Poor Performace could really do with a diesel engine like the one found in the Jeep Cherokee.  Every time I open my door during or after it rains I get a staeady stream of water off the roof from the way it chanels right into the Jeep when the door is opened.  The rubber shock fittings disentigrated and had to be replaced. Overall quite Satisfied.

Pros: Lots of fun!
Cons: Minor irritations, poor back seat access, poor performance, but who cares it's a jeep thing.

KC Daylighter Lights, Delta Fogs, Viair Onboard Air, Grover Horn.

It's perfect for the commuter in good and bad weather and on the sand at the beach.

Pros: High ride height means great clearance, 6 speed tranny stock is good for highway driving, 1st gear lets you go 5mph without stalling in traffic, and 4wd low range gets you up any incline. Soft top.
Cons: Heavy, wind resistance, requires specialized tools if you want to work on it.

The new wrangler is excelent when offroading and greatly improves over last years model in onroad driving in stoping distances and rolover avoidence with new features incorporated into the E.S.P. system (electronic stability program).

Pros: Nice exterior, great for offroading.
Cons: Back seat is difficult to get into.

I think Jeep is losing the concept of what true long-time Jeep owners love. I have no problem with the evolution of models and styles, but they should keep at least one that resembles the tough, old school style for the die-hard fans.
