  I love everything, the interior, steering wheel, sound, speed, handling. Its perfect for everyday use, you can be driving like a maniac speeding crazily, and when you want it to it can be quiet and relaxing (although the ruff suspenion can be a little bumpy at times). Only problem is its a little too heavy. |

Having owned the Golf for around 3 months now and covered just over 2700 miles. The interior has got to be one of my favourite parts of the car especially the bucket seats that provide comfort and the support to keep you firmly seated in any corner. The biggest surprise to me about the GTI is the fuel consumption as it is not any worse than my C2 VTS was, although I have to admit that is when the GTI isn’t being pushed.
Pros:
Good Acceleration in any gear
Great Bucket Seats Good Quality Interior
Cons:
No colour coded rear bumper and side skirts

Performance is excellent tanks to the turbocharged 2.0 liter engine. Great chassis and handling.

the car is amazing...it has a DSG gearbox and does 0-100kmh in 6.9 seconds which is the same as the new 2009 standard GTI...the acceleration from 1st, 2nd and 3rd are amazing but it lacks pull on top hand....oh and the handling is impecable....

its dope i like it its black its has plaid seats cool steering wheel decently quick, sounds good, looks nice REAL HIDs not fake pos u get with a huyndaiagay, 6 speed, roomy, great to drive long trips, rules the world

Well, it has good acceleration, 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds with the DSG. It is fwd and and is a VW so it costs a lot insure and upkeep. All in all, great car. Go out and buy one now!

This engine is AMAZING. Torque like a much larger engine. The car is a rocket. The ergonomics of the interior are nearly flawless. The shifter is a joy to use (and a HUGE improvement over previous Golf/Rabbit models). The dynamics are as good as ever. Just a wonderful car and a hoot to drive.

This little "rabbit: is a rocket. Uses the same engine found in the audi A4 and a3. 200 and 200 with such a litlle car and this things moves. It can be chiped throught VW to get upwards of 280 and 290. The dsg transmission is fantastic giving the options of using the paddle shifters, the traditional stick shift, regular automatic or sport mode automatic which maintains high revs for fast responses. For those who think sports cars should only have a true manual; drive this transmission system ans then think again. FUN FUN FUN

Only comes with summer performance rated tires meaning have to buy winters with seperate rims.

It's super awesome. Handles real good, drives real fast, really comfortable, gorgeous looking, smooth shift gear, lightweight, surprisingly can fit a lot of stuff, provides good sound sytem, nice exhaust sound, nice engine sound, accelerate effortlessly, the seats are super comfortable and have a very nice interior....A REAL SPORTS CAR!
