Great value for money, performance is moderate, comfortable and great build quality. Service costs are a bit high but it is German so that is expected. Great all rounder car. Sporty fun and comfortable. Volkswagen is a great company and would tell everyone to go check out any of their products!

This car is absolutely amazing. It is a great and fun car to drive as an everyday driver, or even for the racing scene it is a great car. Handles nicely and can be customized in many different ways. The cost is descent too, its only around 18k. Good price for a brand new car. The interior of the car is just as amazing as the exterior of the car. Its sleek clean just good quality German engineering. Only downside is that i don't have enough money to fully deck it out the way i want it yet.

Bought this car about 3 months/4,000 miles ago. I bought an "S: model, but I loaded it up with all of the "SE" level equipment, minus the sunroof and the 6-disc CD changer. This strategy got me all of the goodies like traction control, heated seats, etc., but still kept my purchase price low, at $19,300.00 This car rides, handles, shifts and stops like a much more expensive car. The engine is very responsive, and my gas mileage hovers around 23-24 in the city and 26-27 highway. The power assisted steering works well, and the car has pretty good grip too. The only weak spot is a cheap base radio, but one can always upgrade with an aftermarket unit. All in all, I think this is a great car.
Pros:
Excellent drive train. Good handling. Well built, with a rock-solid feel. Large trunk. Good gas mileage.
Cons:
Weak base-level radio.
