The BMW 535i is one sweet ride.  The ride quality is balanced quite well with performance, never sacrificing power. The car is an experience to drive.  It handles well, but the first gear ratio can create some tire spin out of a turn with so much torque.
One of my complaints would be the stitching on the steering wheel.  It collects on the back and feels as if it is coming undone when in reality the stitch is just left wide. It takes away from the crisp clean feeling of the rest of the interior.
The other complaint would be how you control the computer/radio/communication system.  There is a knob located near the mid-car armrest.  It dials around, as well as having the ability to "bump" in the four cardinal directions.  It is very difficult to change from radio to satellite to a CD or you iPod while driving.  The tasks become dangerous.  A touchscreen would have been a much safer choice.

Pros: Power, Performance, Balance ride quality, Interior, Rear seat space
Cons: Stitch on steering wheel collects on the back, Computer system contolled by knob

I could have bought myself the m5, but thought it was a good idea to have an extremly powerfull turbocharged 6 cylinder with the same peformance as m5, but only feeling lighter and more fun to play with  in this time where fuel is not so cheap anymore.

Pros: Perfect driving
Cons: Zilch

Love this car-- so fast-- not a big fan of the free
service.. Took forever every time I took this car in for
service.. The cost of ownership was nothing.
Everything was free. The car was a blast to drive..
Drive it up to the mountains and it hugs the turns..

Pros: Fast- loved the sport seats-- 90mph and you feel as if you are going 55
Cons: service took a while!

Drives like a dream. Way better than any Japanese car I ever driven. No rattles, this thing rides on rails and is solid as they come. Wish I went for the manual, but automatic was still fun. The only thing I didn't like was that the sound system was lacking in bass.

Pros: Rides on rails!
Cons: Ho-hum bass

This car amazed me in various ways, especially when I am coming from 2 previous E39s 1 being a M5. I was presently surprised at the technology that was thought out when the engineers put this car together. It is definitely an improvement over the previous E39, but the thing I love about this particular E60 is the Turbo motor and the tranny.. so smooth on power delivery, and yet for a turbo the power is pretty linear which is very very nice, the torque is also acceptable for the price!!

Pros: Smooth Turbo power delivery, TONS of features!!
Cons: None so far

Fantastic acceleration and good gas mileage. Absolutely no compromises. Handles great through the corners, setup for a little bit of understeer, but you can create oversteer with a little extra throttle. One of the best engines in the world...period.

Pros: Engine, Handling, Brakes, Interior
Cons: None, potentially will upgrade to the 550i wheels.
