| “My Parents' Truck” I have to admit: when I first saw this truck, I did not like it at all. After driving it, however, I began to come around. The XM radio is pretty awesome as well, and OnStar CAN be a big help. This is also a vehicle I feel very safe in, since we have had an accident in it and have been quite safe.
Pros —
On-Star; the comfortable interior; the braking system; the maneuverability
Cons —
It sucks a lot of gas; I'm not too fond of the body style.

I have 2,500 miles on my 2007 Silverado and haven't found much to not like. The overall quality, ride, and performance is fantastic.
Pros —
This truck is a pleasure to drive, my family prefers to take the truck than the family car when we go on a trip.
Cons —
Gas mileage is a disapointment, I was getting better mpg from my 1999 chevy short box it replaced.
