One hell of a truck! It's much more improved over the
2006 model. Strong sturdy truck all around! I can't
wait until 2010 to get the 2500 HD Diesel fully loaded
down! Hopefully they won't ruin the body like all of the
other manufacturers are doing lately! I recommend
this truck to everyone who's looking for a full size pick
up.

It is a nice truck to drive and so far hasn't had any problems (4000 miles). The driver and front passenger seats are comfortable. The 5.3 engine has good performance with  20 mpg freeway driving. City is about 14 mpg. Steering and braking is also very good.

There are however some design flaws. The back seat is very uncomfortable due to the back being to straight up and little padding. The front console seat combination while good storage with 2 compartments is uncomfortable to sit on due to the seat having little padding. The ride while isn't bad could be made a lot smoother especially the front end. The 4 speed automatic transmission is to slow to respond on a force downshift. The engine responds immediatly but the transmission while it responds immediatly take takes about 2 seconds to complete the downshift leaving the engine reving up and waiting for the transmission.

Over all it is a nice truck to drive but needs some refinements.
