The AWD system was quite capable, but I was looking for even more control, which is why I switched to a Rover.

BMW quality was great though. The handling was superb!

Pros: Everything mostly.
Cons: Leather wear, EVERYONE has one

17" Beyern Type Mesh Rims with Goodyear Eagle F1 Tires.  AFE cold air intake kit boosts HP 20%.

Pros: Handles amazingly.
Cons: Black paint is a maintenance nightmare

If you want the performance and luxury of a BMW 3 series but live in a snowy area, the xi is a perfectly viable solution.

Pros: Good fuel efficiency, performance feel, luxury rating, solid build, quiet interior, goos stock sound system.
Cons: End up buying multiple BMW's, the small normally ignored details become full blown in your mind, you will become a maintenance freak to preserve the amazing driving experience, BMW service centers are never the solution as they are too expensive, you'll develop a good relation with an independent mechanic who will do your little work like control armm bushings.

The Car Has Good Performance For A 3 Series, But It Could Looke Better And Be A Little Mroe Reliable.

The 2003 BMW 325xi would be a great car if it had the looks to go with it.  The interior is amazing, black leather with silver trim.  The pedal feels good when you step on it.  You can really feel the power.  The tiptronic is fun to drive. (For those who don't know, it's a combination of manual and automatic in a vehicle).  However the exterior front and rear bumpers could get an improvement.  You could buy the body kit yourself, but it would be better for BMW to have it installed stock.

Pros: Good Performance, nice interior, good sound quality, steptronic/tiptronic
Cons: exterior look, odd engine noises at times
