2007 Chevrolet Impala LS Reviews
| “Chev Impala” Quiet, Solid, reliable, comfortable, affordable to buy and operate - killer gas milage, overall classy look, with all the interior accessories you need. Downside of this model is not being able to get exterior accessories for it unless they are from the US...including chrome door handles...whats up with that...

Cons —
Not able to accessorize

| “Great Fuel Economy” Fit & finish is good. Avg 7 litres/100km highway. A bit of wind noise on the highway. Tire rotation seems to be more important on these newer FWD cars.
Pros —
fuel economy
Cons —
a bit of wind noise

| “The Onstar Antenna May Come Off” a Car Guru
Author recommends this car
I've owned my new Impala for five months. I notice the 3' Onstar/XM antenna in the center rear was gone after going through an automatic carwash. I wish Chevelot had welded this somehow with the signal coming frow within the car. My dealership charges $195.00 for parts and labor to fix it. The said that the entire device has to be replace since it was broken off. I don't think consumer should have to pay for unstable devices on cars. Chevelot made it too easy for antenna to break off. I have seen over nine Chevelot cars with missing Onstar antenna. I think that they should recall the cars and put more reliable antennas on them. I plan to continue going through automatic carwashes. BTW, I saw nothing in my manual that specified what can be done about this. |
