Pros:
Fast, light, great handling, 30mpg highway
Cons:
Low, cleaned it more than I drove it.

This is a great, all-around performance bargain. Aside from the lackluster interior, it is certainly a solid car. Track performance is fantastic and the car is set up very well from the factory. It has a raw, race car-like quality to it that is all but absent in the new C6's.
Pros:
Tons of torque, very quick, terrific handling, very capable track car, comfortable, good highway gas mileage, cheap to own
Cons:
Feels "big", schoolbus steering wheel, poor GM interior, numb steering (though better than C6), lousy seats

My 2002 Z06 was a beast... bottom line. It was quick as hell, handled like it was on rails, sounded like a NASCAR, and had a menacing look when it first came out. I added long tube headers, Borla exhaust, short throw shifter, VaraRam CAI, and various other doo dads to make it a little more fun and more like I wanted it. All in all, the Z06 was and still is one of my favorite cars of all time.
Pros:
Rocket acceleration, on rails handling, and a blast to drive fast.
Cons:
The usual complaint with GM as a whole and Corvettes in particular... cheap interior.

This car had face peeling acceleration, ridiculous lateral grip, and ass clenching braking.
Pros:
Power, handling, braking, style, presence, fuel mileage (when driven appropriately), unbelievable bargain at the time.
Cons:
Seats have no lateral support, still carries that old gold chain wearing stigma with some people.

its perfect! the movement of the transmission to the rear gives the car a better balance compared to older vesions!

Had this car for two years so far, It fits me nicely, no other car can replace this for the price. Bone stock, dynoed 360rwhp 350rwtq on mustang dyno.
Pros:
Rwd, light weight, Simplicity, after market, good looking, fast, easy to make faster, handling, can work on it myself
Cons:
can be unpractical because space, drivetrain can be different to work on because of rear transmission setup.

Out of the box performance!!! High 12 sec 1/4 mile, and all the top end speed you need in 6th gear with all the braking and handling to go with it!!!! The Musle Car era wasn't the 60's & 70's........ITS NOW!!!!! Where living it.............
