2007 Toyota Camry LE Reviews

Nice solid ride is this car's best feature. Good headroom in the cabin, leg room front an rear a-plenty, full marks there. Where things go wrong, the four cylinder sounds as though it's straining under acceleration, power comes on FULL, no finesse to be had in the gas pedal, all or nothing. This car needs a six IMO. If not, then some more sound proofing would lessen the engine noise, and perhaps an adjustment in the torque curve to smooth it out, it feels as though the engine is going into convulsions when under normal acceleration.
Inside the cabin, when using the sun visors, they flop as though they are going to drop down in front of you when you hit a bump in the road, very distracting and annoying after a while, the wiper stalk is too close to the wheel, I engaged the wipers twice in one day just steering around corners. The cruise stalk is in an awkward spot, would have preferred it on the left hand side of the wheel allowing me to use that hand leaving my right to steer with. Radio tuner knob is FAR too far to reach from the driver seat, and it's night time display is too bright, and can't be dimmed without dimming the dash lights so low as to be unreadable, and the dimmer switch/odometer reset control could hardly be put in a more hard to reach spot.
Nice touches, the gated shifter that allows you to drop to 4rth gear for passing, the lighted needles on the dash, and auto headlight setting.

The handling is good, smooth. The acceleration is better than I expected. 9 out of 10 for appearance. No repairs expect a few minor scratches. This car is amazing to drive, i like lookin for people to race with for a quater mile. Ive beaten plently even for a camry

Its good on gas without sacrifise rooms or much speed.Has good handling and braking just wish it hand better acceleration. so far i have not had to make any repairs. It is a good looking car in must colors darker is better i think. I think i paid to much but that is just my own personal feeling.

it gets 34 miles/gallon highway...which is awesome. my parents take my car on trips instead of theirs haha. has a ton of room in it. my dad and brother can ride in the back seat comfortable and they are 6 ft tall. easy to handle and has plenty of get up and go.
