2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Convertible Reviews

a great drivers car if you like convertibles

This is my 2nd Sebring convertible. The first was a 2000 JXi model purchased from Carmax, had no problems in 8 years, None. Love the styling, it is modern without being ostentatious. Storage is great, lots of cubbies in doors, now has 4 cup holders! Visibility is excellent with tall greenhouse, big rear window for a convertible. Top down in 10 secs. New 2.7 liter engine is smooth and powerful, gets consistently 20-22 mpg on regular. Controls are SIMPLE! Easy to reach, understand and use, a model for others. Trunk is huge, holds 2 big, and 2 med or golf bags with ease. 4 passenger comfort, and rear seats can carry bulky items like a microwave, or flat tv in its box for example.
Cons: Yes the windows sometimes squeak when up, windshield is optically distorted, (I don't notice it now) some big panel gaps and sloppy body panel welds. Some missing wiring the dealer corrected. Only 2 airbags.
Overall: Fun, Safe, Solid, Front Drive, Quiet, Roomy, MPG, Value, Reliable and Reasonable to Insure. I would buy again.
