I absolutely LOVE my Z24. It's getting old and I need to get a new paint job. But mechanically it's PRIMO. In 17 years, I've only had to replace: 1 cotter pin, 1 alternator. Car does not like to go slow! It runs best at 60-80 MPH, so I have to watch out when the limit is below 60. I don't have a lead foot, but the least little pressure makes this boy wanna fly! Handles great. Styling is awesome. Looks like a flying wedge.
Pros:
Great 6cyl 3.1L engine, transmission, brakes, comfortable to drive
Cons:
paint (in wet hot Florida) - clear coat corrodes, paint wears off

I got the car from my godfather and cousin when she was ready to get a new car and get rid of this one. I got it for free but needed to repaint the whole thing which took a few months in 2006. We started work in may of 2006 and she was finished around Christmas time, so I guess it was a nice gift :)
Pros:
Great looks, won third place at a car show, decent performance (it's got a V6) and decent gas mileage (16 MPG). Overall i couldn't ask for a better first car.
Cons:
The sunroof leaks, not as fast as I want, low resale value (its 15 years old and has 108,000 miles on it :(

awesome car for its age, couldn't be happier with it, unless i added a few additions which is what im doing to my civic. but overall engine is good, powerful, tansmission works good, you can def feel the Z24 power

Its a great daily driver, has enough balls to get up and go but still good on gas. It will own imports by the end of the summer. Yes it is a fun car to drive, and no you cannot touch it.

its got an awsome shade of blue

It's a Cavalier. It's moderately better performing than a comparable civic, but not by far, and with far less build quality, and reliability
Pros:
Cheap, lots of parts to choose from if something breaks. Cheap.
Cons:
Cheap. Things break easily. It's a 15 year old car from GM. Bad transmissions, crappy interior.

How often do you find a 3.1 V6 in a small car. You can't beat the performace of this original factory sport compact. The only problem I had other than the frame rusting out was the heater vents in the dash kept falling out.
