2007 Mazda RX-8 Grand Touring Reviews
| “Mazda Rx-8”
The First Version of the RX-8, the SE, produced from Model Years 2004 to 2008, is powered by the 13B-MSP Renesis rotary engine displacing 1.3 litres (twin 654cc rotors ) which, when coupled with a six speed manual transmission will typically produce 237 hp (177 kW) at 8200rpm and 211Nm (ECE) of torque at 5500 rpm.[1] The Renesis Multi Side Port engine shows greatly improved fuel efficiency and emission improvement over the RX-7's engine
Pros —
Great model, Renesis rotary engine, uniqe engine sound, great handling.
Cons —
Could have use a turbo charge, not as fast as previous generation Rx-7

| “A Straight Up Blast To Drive” Gotta love a 240 horse engine that is only 1.3L and has no pistons.
Pros —
Amazing handling, plenty of power if you can drive it right, great looks that turns heads, bose system is damn nice too.
Cons —
Guzzles gas like a private jet, not much torque so you need to rev it, turbo it and it is untouchable.
