2007 BMW 328xi Coupe Reviews
| “The Ultimate Driving Machine”
Read above. BMW set the standard for car handing. No one does it better. Ultimate driver's car. All car magazines compare the steering against a BMW. Read Motortrend's review of the Holden Commodore (Pontiac G8): handling was almost as good as the BMW 5 series. People compare the G35 to the 335i, BMW kills it with the steering. Watch the Edmunds video.
Pros —
Driver's car. Built with passion for perfection.
From Car & Driver: "Stellar steering feel, sports-car handling, powerful and quiet 300-hp twin-turbo six, fuel efficient 230-hp base engine; arguably the best-looking BMW." |
| “Fun, Yet Practical.” Overall great vehicle. I previously owned a 2006 330i, and although this car is slightly slower on drive pavement, it shines in the winter too.
Pros —
Style, brakes, all-weather security, handling, interior quality, acceleration.
Cons —
Mediocre fuel economy, could be faster.

| “Grand Tourer” This car is a good all around performer. It isn't as tight as a Porsche and it isn't as cushy as a Mercedes but it hits the nail on the head for fun practicality. The i-Drive system is not as big a pain in the ass as everyone makes it out to be, and almost all options you could need to change are within a menu or two away, or you could just use the voice command to navigate through everything much quicker. If you like to drive quickly, opt for the sport package because the stock seats don't offer enough side bolstering. All in all, this car is a blast to drive, although i wish i had opted for a 335i.
Pros —
Great engine and powertrain. Communicative steering, All wheel drive makes driving in the snow a piece of cake.
Cons —
suspension is too hard for city driving but not hard enough for sporting applications.
Only runflat tires available from the dealer.
