| “Transmission Slips Then Slams In Gear”

| “Good Truck ,awesome Dealer Fundy Ford Middleton N.s.” I purchased a new 2007 ranger 4-door sport this week from Fundy Ford sales in Middleton Nova Scotia. The sales team was very helpful and seemed to work well together. The first impression of the vehicle was a good one .I was impressed with the good but solid ride quality as well as the abundance of power for a small truck. The fit and finish is second to none , no squeeks ,rattles or odd noises.Ive owned a new Toyota and like this one almost as much, probably more when you factor in the price difference. The sales team at Fundy Ford had all accessories installed and ready to go even though I called mid day the day before to ask them to under coat as well as add the electronic rust proofing device. They did so and the truck was ready and polished the next day when I arrived a half hour early to pick it up.The dealer really can make or break the experence of buying a new vehicle.Mine made it pleasurable.I have put about 550 kms on now and love it.The only annoiance I have is that i hate the process involved in removing and replacing the tonneau cover .It takes too long and is a general pain ,I'm getting rid of it and getting a TruXedo .The tonneau in my only complaint.

| “2007 Ranger Lemon” a Car Guru
I bought 2007 ford ranger 4x2 sport super cab from Marlborough ford in calgary canada. The test drive went well the truck seemed like a great truck for the price, very nice acceleration handles great. On the day i went to pick it up the accesories hadn't been installed. They hadnt sprayed the undercoat i had ordered, and they expected me to come back and have it done on my own time. On my way home from the dealership i noticed the transmission was very clunky. the transmission was thudding harder that the one in my 94 explorer with transmission problems that i was buying the ranger to replace. The next time i went to start the truck i heard a loud pop as the ignition turned over. The pop doesnt happen every time just half the time. I never expected a car with 50km on it could have these type of problems.
