all of the little customized things on it are nice. but its such an amazing car anyways.

Pros — the details, it runs beautifully. its an investment
Cons — its an automatic. tires are expensive. and so is full coverage insurance...

I got this car when I was 17. It's had a few reliability issues (oil leak, cracked tranny mount) but they were few and far between. It is a Z28, it's hard to see the emblems because they're all black. It's convertible with a dark grey leather interior. It's all stock except for the Flowmaster exhaust and the sound system I installed (Premier stereo, Boston Acoustics all around, and a JL Audio amp and sub). This car is my babv. It's fast and loud and whenever I pull up in it, people are looking.

Pros — Acceleration, Loud, Turns Heads, Not a Mustang
Cons — Not a SS

This car handles great on the open road-and is able to top end though I only pressed it once and just long enough to see blue puffs of smoke coming out he back side of the Porsche I passed. I have 107k on it now with a few repairs (purchased her at 37k in '96), handles great hugging the road around curves gracefully without losing anyone out the side and since mine is red-she is pretty-well maintained and a rust free 'Zoner.

Pros — Plenty of leg room and elbow room in the front seats of the car, has tracking system so engine does not end up in your lap in a front end collision and protective framing support on sides of car. It handles well and curves gracefully. She has power to climb effortlessly. Unlike some convertible boxes...you can see out the back of her while driving. The model was discontinued so will be worth something to hold on to.
Cons — Putting a corvette engine in a little box doesn't allow for room to work on anything and mechanic's generally charge about 100.00 more to fix anything. The box for the battery is too small for the car's needs so needs to be replaced annually. She hydroplanes on wet pavement because of low profile tires. You have to watch clearance for drive-pathways as if it is too steep an incline will catch the front end though she loves to climb my driveway at a 6 percent grade without difficulty-or if speed bumps are over 6" will catch the tranny. The back seat isn't really made for people.
