Most Berettas come standard with 4-Cylinder Engines so they don't burn through your gas like other cars might. They can be bought for a very low price; I bought my '95 for $800; I met a guy who is selling a '94 for $500.

I believe that most Berettas (if not all) do not come standard with Anti-Lock Breaking. With that said, they do handle snow quite well; however, if you go into a slide, you're going to have to tap that break and straighten her out. Early models had a problem with the engine making a "clinking" sound and the earliest models had a problem with how the steering wheel was attached. It is an older car and it is American, so it's likely that any Beretta is going to have it's share of problems. Currently, my transmission is slowly going and I've gained a slow leak in my Engine coolant. Fixing a transmission can be pretty expensive but it's also possible to just but another Beretta and either transplant the new transmission or simply drive the new Beretta depending on the relative quality of both cars.

Loved my first car!!!!! It handled awesome. Had the bra on the front. It added a nice touch. The gas mileage was great considering I didn't have a job at the time. It was a great cruise around car. NOT MADE FOR RAMPING THOUGH THAT WAS HOW IT MET THE END OF THE LINE AND GOT SENT TO THE SCRAP YARD.
